Sask 1st Call Locate Request

For your convenience, use our online locate request to notify us of your plan to dig, excavate, or otherwise disturb the ground.

Sask 1st Call operates Monday to Friday 8 A.M. to 5 P.M. December 1 through March 31 and 7 A.M. to 5 P.M. April 1 through November 30, and is closed weekends and holidays. Online requests can be made 24 hours a day. Online requests received after hours will be processed the next business day.

Sask 1st Call Subscriber companies require a minimum of two full working days notice. If your locate is an Emergency or Priority, you must call Sask 1st Call directly at 1-866-828-4888 and speak with a Sask 1st Call Representative. Emergencies are processed 24 hours.

Locate markings are valid for 10 working days after being placed. The Excavator is not clear to excavate until all Subscribers notified have located their facilities in the identified work area or advised you to proceed. It is the Excavator’s responsibility not to damage the facilities, and placing this request through Sask 1st Call does not remove that responsibility.

There may be other parties who have underground facilities in your work area that are not "subscribers" to Sask 1st Call. You are responsible to notify these parties of your proposed excavation. You are also responsible to locate or hire someone to locate any "private lines" in your work area.
